Job Description

This position offers an opportunity to provide physical therapy services in a K-12 school setting, supporting students ability to participate fully in their educational environment. The role is part-time, averaging 15-20 hours per week with flexibility in scheduling to accommodate personal and professional needs. This contract position runs during the current school year, based in Aiken, SC.

Key responsibilities include assessing and treating students with physical therapy needs, collaborating with educators and parents, and developing individualized intervention plans to promote mobility and functional independence in the school setting. The candidate will manage a caseload of students spanning kindergarten through 12th grade, ensuring therapy aligns with educational goals.

Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina license as a Physical Therapist
  • Experience working in school-based physical therapy preferred
  • Ability to develop and implement therapeutic plans tailored to individual student needs
