Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II Certification is a must
• Previous experience working with students of diverse abilities is preferred
• Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
• Willingness to take a cooperative, team-oriented approach to problem solving
• Motivation to work collaboratively within an educational setting
• Proficiency with basic computer operations and familiarity with assistive technologies
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely under the direction of teachers, specialists, and administrators
• Provide classroom and instructional support to help meet individualized student needs
• Implement lesson plans designed by educational specialistsensuring consistency and quality care
• Assist students in both group and one-on-one settings, fostering an engaging and supportive environment
• Use basic computer skills and assistive technology equipment as directed
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive classroom climate by modeling respectful, encouraging behavior
• Communicate progress and challenges to supervising staff clearly and professionally
• Support students during classroom activities and transitions as needed
