Step into a rewarding role supporting students as a Paraprofessional in schools throughout the Weare, NH area. Immediate openings are available at the elementary, middle, and high school levels on a contract basis. This is a great opportunity to build impactful relationships with students and collaborate with dedicated educational teams in a dynamic, inclusive setting.
Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Comfortable working with students across a range of ages and abilities
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively with teachers and staff
- Patience, flexibility, and willingness to support both academic and behavioral needs
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing classroom situations
- Associates degree, completed paraprofessional certification, or equivalent experience (where required)
Core Responsibilities:
- Assist teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities
- Provide direct support to students, both individually and in small groups
- Help maintain a positive, productive classroom environment
- Document and report student progress and behavior as needed
- Support students with special needs according to their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Participate in meetings, trainings, and professional development as required
