An exciting opportunity is available for experienced and certified Educational Technicians to support students in a life skills classroom setting within a K-12 school near Union, ME. These full-time contractual positions extend through June 2026 and offer professional development in a meaningful educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students with special education needs in a life skills classroom
- Implement individualized education program (IEP) goals under the guidance of licensed educators
- Support academic, social, and behavioral development for students with diverse needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families to promote student success
- Maintain a safe and positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working in special education settings preferred; OR
- Possess 60+ credit hours in education-related coursework and hold an active Educational Technician (Ed Tech) certification
- Ability to work full time in a school environment with students requiring life skills support
- Strong communication, patience, and adaptability skills
Location: Schools servicing the Waterville and Union, ME areas within a K-12 district.
