Paraprofessional Openings Early Intervention Classroom (20262027 School Year)

Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school in the Dunmore, PA area to hire 23 dedicated Paraprofessionals for the 20262027 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to support early learners in a collaborative, student-centered environment.
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time, MondayFriday
Work Hours: 8:15 AM 3:15 PM
Contract Duration: August 24, 2026 August 6, 2027
Setting: Early intervention classroom
Student Population: Ages 35
Service Model: Students attend either AM or PM sessions
Interview Process: Virtual (Zoom)
Role Overview
As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary teamincluding a classroom teacher, Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), and another paraprofessionalto support young learners with diverse developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the classroom teacher with instructional activities and daily routines
Provide individualized and small-group student support
Help facilitate engagement in classroom lessons and play-based learning
Support students with physical needs, including feeding, repositioning, and changing
Maintain a safe, organized, and nurturing classroom environment
Qualifications
High school diploma required
Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting required
Comfort working with special education (SPED) populations
Ability and willingness to support students with varying physical and developmental needs
Must be able to obtain and maintain required Pennsylvania clearances
Reliable transportation
