Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring dedicated Paraprofessionals and Bus Aides servicing the greater San Francisco region to support students across Pre-K, Elementary, Middle, and High School campuses. These positions are ideal for compassionate, dependable professionals who are committed to making a meaningful impact in the classroom and beyond.
Position Overview
Paraprofessionals are assigned to a school campus, where administration places staff based on current student needs. All candidates must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to support a wide range of responsibilities as directed.
This is a team-based environment, and all staff members are expected to contribute wherever needed to support student success.
Key Responsibilities

Provide classroom and student support as directed by school staff
Assist with toileting, diapering, feeding, and G-tube feeding when required
Support students with varying academic, behavioral, and physical needs
Follow instructions from teachers, administrators, and campus leadership
Maintain a collaborative, professional attitude with staff and students

Important:
All paraprofessionals must be willing to perform all assigned duties. Candidates cannot select or refuse responsibilities. Any refusal to complete assigned tasks may result in dismissal. While preferences may be discussed with school leadership, placement in specific roles is not guaranteed.

Bus Aide Responsibilities

Meet at a centralized location each day
Ride the bus to student homes and accompany students to school
Work at an assigned school during the day
Ride with students back home and return to the central location

Assignment Hours by Grade Level

Pre-K: 4.5 hours/day (22.5 hours/week)
Elementary School: 5.5 hours/day (27.5 hours/week)
Middle School: 6.5 hours/day (32.5 hours/week)
High School: 6.5 hours/day (32.5 hours/week)
Bus Aides: 8.0 hours/day (40 hours/week)

Minimum Requirements
Candidates must meet one of the following:

Associates Degree or higher
OR 48 college credit units and a high school diploma
OR Passing score on the CBEST with a high school diploma
OR Passing score on the Instructional Aide Exam with a high school diploma

Compensation for this position ranges from $21.00 to $36.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
