This contract position offers the opportunity to work 30 hours per week, focusing on fostering positive student interactions and supporting educational needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing support to students as directed by the Behavior Supervisor or Special Education (SPED) teacher.
• Collect and document student data for use in developing educational strategies.
• Maintain a calm and professional demeanor when interacting with students, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Facilitate social interactions during recess and group activities to promote school readiness.
• Collaborate with specialists to support students preacademic skills.

Qualifications:

• Associate's Degree or higher in a relevant field.
• Valid Driver's License and access to transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in a school-based setting, preferably with a behavioral background.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students and staff.
