Job Description

A full-time paraprofessional opportunity is available for the 2025-2026 school year, supporting K-12 students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges. This contract position begins ASAP and continues through May 2026, providing a vital role in assisting classroom teachers and enhancing student learning in both in-person and remote settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct support to students with moderate to severe behavioral needs across various grade levels (K-12).
  • Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral interventions.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and support staff to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor student progress and document relevant information for educational teams.
  • Support classroom activities and modifications tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with educators to enhance instructional strategies and student engagement.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Previous experience working with K-12 students in educational or related settings.
  • Comfort and skill in managing moderate to severe behavioral challenges.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to participate in both in-person and virtual interviews.
