Job Description

A full-time paraprofessional position is available for the 2025-2026 school year in a K-12 educational setting serving students with moderate to severe behavioral needs. This contract role has a start date of ASAP and continues through May 2026. The position supports students across all grade levels, providing essential assistance to ensure a positive and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering instructional activities and classroom management
  • Support students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges by implementing individualized strategies
  • Facilitate both in-person and virtual learning activities as needed
  • Collaborate with educators, specialists, and families to adapt learning plans
  • Monitor and promote student engagement, safety, and well-being throughout the school day

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with behavioral challenges
  • Ability to implement behavioral interventions and support plans
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility to engage in both in-person and virtual environments
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive educational atmosphere
