Job Description

Support the educational development of K-5 students as a full-time Paraprofessional serving multiple needs within an elementary school setting. This opportunity offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM, allowing consistent engagement with students across a typical school calendar year contract.

Location: Bloomingdale, IL

Qualifications and Certifications:

  • Valid Illinois State Paraprofessional licensure is required for this position.
  • Experience working with K-5 students and supporting diverse student caseloads is preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist classroom teachers by implementing instructional programs designed to support students with varied learning needs.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group instructional support, adapting tasks for different skill levels.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student growth and independence.
  • Monitor and document student progress while supporting behavioral and social development.
  • Collaborate closely with educators, specialists, and families to enhance student success.

Additional Details:

  • Full-time commitment, Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM 3:00 PM.
  • The number of students on the caseload may vary, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
