Job Description
This position requires a paraprofessional to support students in an elementary school setting. The role involves assisting classroom teachers with instructional activities, providing individualized support to students, and helping maintain a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support classroom instruction by working directly with students under teacher supervision
- Assist with classroom management and organization
- Help students with assignments and learning activities
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance as needed
- Support students with special needs or individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Communicate effectively with teachers and staff to coordinate student support
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional in an elementary school setting
- Ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude
- Basic knowledge of instructional strategies and classroom routines

Position Type: Contract, School Year (CSY)
