An opportunity is available for a dedicated paraprofessional to support virtual speech therapy services for K-12 students with mild to moderate disabilities. This role is essential in ensuring that therapy sessions are effective by maintaining student engagement and facilitating communication between students and virtual therapists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate and supervise virtual speech therapy sessions for students from kindergarten through 12th grade
• Keep students engaged and focused throughout therapy sessions
• Collaborate closely with virtual therapists to redirect student attention as needed
• Ensure all technology used during sessions operates smoothly
• Supervising and monitoring student behavior during therapy engagement

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Louisiana Paraprofessional license or certificate required
• Previous experience working within K-12 educational settings
• Comfortable supporting students with mild to moderate disabilities
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists and school staff

Job Details:

• Location: Pineville, LA
• Full-time position with 35 hours per week
• Contract duration: Full school year
