  • Patience, empathy, and a commitment to helping students thrive
  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in special education is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized or small group support to students, following educators instructions and program goals
  • Assist with classroom management, reinforcing routines and expectations
  • Adapt instructional materials and activities to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Help students with mobility, communication, or personal care as required
  • Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive classroom environment
  • Monitor student progress and communicate insights to teaching staff
  • Participate in meetings, training, and school activities as needed
