School-Based Paraprofessional Opportunity in Palo Alto
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking qualified Paraprofessionals for a full-time school-based position supporting students in grades K12 during the 20262027 school year. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact in the classroom while working alongside a collaborative educational team.
Position Details
- Location: East Palo Alto, California
- Contract Dates: August 6, 2026 June 4, 2027
- Schedule: Full-Time
- MondayFriday
- 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
- 30-minute unpaid break
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to teachers and students
- Assist students individually or in small groups with academic and behavioral goals
- Support students throughout the school day to promote engagement and success
- Follow behavior intervention plans and classroom procedures
- Collaborate with school staff and special education teams
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment
Qualifications
- Must meet California Paraprofessional requirements
- Prior school-based experience required
- Strong behavior management and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Passion for supporting student growth and success
Additional Information
- Students served may range from Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Assignments may include classroom support or one-on-one student assistance
- Candidates must complete all required California school onboarding requirements and clearances
