Support middle school students in a rewarding contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional in the Texarkana area. Qualifications:

• Current Para certification in Texas required
• Experience working as a paraprofessional or in a related school support role preferred
• Ability to engage positively with middle school-aged students
• Strong communication skills and adaptability within a team setting
• Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, and student well-being

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with instructional and non-instructional tasks
• Support students individually and in small groups, reinforcing lessons and aiding academic growth
• Participate in behavior management and classroom organization
• Encourage social, emotional, and academic development of students
• Supervise students during non-classroom activities, such as lunch or transitions
• Collaborate with faculty and staff to contribute to an inclusive and safe school environment

This contract position consists of 37.5 hours per week over a standard five-day school schedule, focused on supporting middle school students.
