Job Description
Join an educational environment dedicated to supporting students growth and success as a Paraprofessional in Napa, CA. This part-time, onsite position supports Pre-K classrooms and requires hands-on assistance, including diapering, with flexible responsibilities that include classroom support and occasional work at a secondary site.
Key Details:
- Location: Napa, CA
- Setting: K-12 School
- Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours/week
- Monday to Friday, 9:15 am 12:15 pm (Pre-K classroom)
- Monday to Thursday: Primary site classroom support
- Fridays: Alternate between prep work at primary site and classroom duties at a separate site
- Contract duration: January 12, 2025 June 5, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide dedicated support to Pre-K students under teacher supervision
- Assist with daily classroom activities, including preparation and cleanup
- Manage diapering needs with care and sensitivity
- Adapt to schedule variations including work at a secondary site on Fridays
- Collaborate with educators to foster a positive learning environment
Qualifications:
- Active Paraprofessional certification/license valid in California
- Experience working with young children, preferably in educational settings
- Ability to manage personal care tasks such as diapering
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Reliable attendance and punctuality to support consistent classroom operations
