Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Paraeducator I or Paraeducator II Certification essential
- Experience with students of varied abilities and needs preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills

- Eagerness to work as part of a collaborative team
- Familiarity with computers and assistive technology systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide instructional support under the supervision of teachers and specialists
- Implement lesson plans created by classroom teachers, special educators, and therapists (development of plans is not required)
- Assist in accommodating student learning per individual education plans and classroom routines
- Foster a supportive, respectful classroom environment that promotes student engagement and independence
- Model appropriate behaviors and encourage positive peer interactions
- Aid in monitoring and documenting student progress, participating in team meetings as appropriate
- Utilize technology and assistive devices to strengthen students classroom participation
