Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Massachusetts Paraprofessional credentials/certification required.
• Experience supporting middle school students in an academic setting preferred.
• Ability to foster a positive, inclusive, and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to support diverse student needs and classroom requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers by providing individualized and group instructional support.
• Help reinforce lessons, adapting materials and methods to accommodate various learning styles.
• Support students social, emotional, and behavioral development throughout the school day.
• Monitor student progress, offering encouragement and motivation.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold school policies at all times.
• Contribute to classroom organization and management to ensure a safe and productive environment.

This is a contract role, working 37.5 hours per week across five days, dedicated to enriching the educational experience for middle schoolers.
