Job Description

This full-time preschool paraprofessional position supports early childhood education in a nurturing school environment focused on fostering young learners' development. The role is based in an early childhood school setting in New Bloomfield, MO, with a commitment spanning the current school year through late May. The work schedule consists of split shifts from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 1:30 PM to 5:30 PM.

Key responsibilities include assisting lead teachers in daily classroom activities, supporting the preschool caseload, implementing developmental lesson plans, and providing individualized attention to promote each childs growth. The role requires collaboration with school staff and participation in training sessions as designated by the district.

Qualifications for this opportunity include meeting one of the following: a current Preschool Child Development Associate (CDA) credential, completion of 60 college credit hours, passing the ParaPro Assessment, or completion of a 20-hour substitute certificate course. Candidates should be prepared to complete fingerprint background checks as part of the onboarding process.
