Job Description

Make a meaningful impact supporting young learners at a dynamic elementary school near Hampton, NH. This contract opportunity seeks five dedicated paraprofessionals to be part of a collaborative team serving students within a Title 1 elementary setting for the 2026-2027 academic year. Youll work closely with educators and specialists to foster an inclusive and encouraging environment where every student can succeed.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in an educational or school paraprofessional role
  • Submission of three professional references, including your most recent supervisor
  • Documentation of one of the following: Paraprofessional II certificate, transcripts showing post-secondary credits equivalent to an Associates degree, or a completed Associates or Bachelors degree
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Demonstrated reliability and enthusiasm for supporting learners with diverse needs

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support classroom teachers in the implementation of daily academic and social instructional activities
  • Assist in monitoring student behavior, reinforcing positive choices, and promoting a safe learning environment
  • Provide one-on-one and small group assistance under the direction of instructional staff
  • Contribute to the preparation and organization of classroom materials and activities
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow all school policies and district guidelines

This contract position requires a commitment to regular hours, working from 8:05 am to 3:05 pm, Monday through Friday, totaling 32.5 hours per week from September 1, 2026 through June 16, 2027. Compensation for this role is competitive, reflecting the important support youll provide to the school community.
