Paraprofessional | $30/Hour | 2026-2027 School Year | Gettysburg, PA Area
Sunbelt Staffing is partnering with a school district in the Gettysburg, PA area to hire a Paraprofessional earning $30 per hour for the 2026-2027 school year. This full-time opportunity will support students with diverse academic, behavioral, and functional needs across elementary and high school settings. Current openings include a one-to-one elementary life skills assignment supporting a student with Down syndrome, as well as classroom-based positions within high school life skills and emotional support programs. Assignments will be determined based on candidate experience, qualifications, and district needs.
Position Responsibilities
Provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support to students
Assist teachers with classroom instruction and daily activities
Reinforce lesson plans and individualized student goals
Support students in life skills and emotional support classroom settings
Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year of paraprofessional experience preferred
Must meet one of the following requirements:
Active paraprofessional certification
48+ college credit hours
Associate degree or higher
Ability to obtain paraprofessional certification within 60 days of hire
Schedule
Full-time position
Approximately 35 hours per week (up to 37.5 hours)
Monday through Friday
Elementary schedule: 8:00 AM - 3:15 PM
Middle and high school schedule: 7:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Compensation
$30.00 per hour
