Paraprofessional / School Aide Job Opening Grand Blanc, MI Area (20262027 School Year)
Location: Grand Blanc, MI (servicing a school district in the Grand Blanc area)
Assignment Dates: August 17, 2026 June 11, 2027
Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
Hours: Typically 7:15 AM 3:15 PM or 8:15 AM 4:15 PM (based on school placement)
Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessionals / School Aides to support students in the Grand Blanc, MI area for the 20262027 school year. In this role, you will work closely with students across various grade levels who require additional academic, behavioral, and personal support.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about education, special education, and student support services.
Job Responsibilities
Provide 1:1 support for students in a variety of classroom settings
Work in self-contained classrooms supporting students with:
Cognitive impairments
Emotional impairments
Severe learning needs
Assist in general education classrooms (mild to moderate support levels) across elementary, middle, and high school settings
Support students with daily living activities, including:
Toileting/diapering
Health aide-type assistance
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and school personnel
Help maintain a positive, supportive, and structured learning environment
Qualifications
Candidates must meet at least one of the following requirements:
Minimum of 60 college credit hours (official transcripts required before submission)
Passing score on the ETS Paraprofessional Assessment
Acceptable SAT score meeting district criteria
Preferred:
Prior experience working with children or individuals with special needs
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to follow structured plans and provide consistent student support
