Job Description
Support the educational development of K12 students as an ABA Paraprofessional in the Washington, NJ area. This contract role offers a direct opportunity to assist students within a special education classroom, providing valuable one-on-one and group support grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles.
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting a caseload of four students in the classroom environment
- Collaborating with teachers and specialists to implement ABA strategies
- Monitoring student progress and assisting with behavior management techniques
- Encouraging positive social and academic growth tailored to individual student needs
- Maintaining accurate documentation in alignment with program requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
- At least one year of experience working as a paraprofessional in a K12 special education setting
- Knowledge of state-required credentialing for paraprofessionals
- Familiarity with ABA support strategies and classroom methodologies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with educators and families
Position Details:
- Location: Washington, NJ area
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:40 AM to 3:40 PM (32.5 hours/week)
- Contract Duration: Immediate start until June 30, 2026
