This opportunity is for a part-time paraprofessional to support Pre-K classrooms within a K-12 school setting. The position requires working onsite, providing classroom assistance and direct support to young learners in Napa, CA. The contract spans the school year, from January 12, 2025, through June 5, 2026, totaling approximately 15 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide classroom support Monday through Thursday at the primary site.
• Assist with classroom activities and student engagement in the Pre-K classroom Monday through Friday from 9:15 am to 12:15 pm.
• Alternate Fridays between preparation work at the primary location and support at a separate classroom site.
• Perform diapering and other personal care as needed for students.
• Assist teachers with maintaining an organized, safe, and positive learning environment.

Qualifications:

• Active Paraeducator certification or license in the state of California.
• Experience working with early childhood or K-12 students preferred.
• Ability to multitask and adapt to different classroom environments.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Commitment to student welfare and education.

Location: Napa, CA
Work Schedule: Part-time, 15 hours weekly
