Job Description

Support students educational success by providing vital paraprofessional assistance across multiple grade levels within a dynamic school district in New Hampshire. These contract positions, available immediately through June 15, 2026, offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in K-12 classrooms serving diverse student needs.

Openings are available at three schools, requiring 10 paraprofessionals in total:

  • Dover High School: 3-4 positions, 7:30 AM 2:30 PM
  • Dover Middle School: 2-3 positions, 7:10 AM 2:10 PM
  • Elementary School: 1-2 positions, 8:05 AM 3:05 PM

Assignments will range from one-on-one student support to broader classroom assistance, with a standard workweek of 32.5 hours.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proof of high school diploma or GED (higher education is a plus)
  • Three professional references ready at the time of interview (including one most recent supervisor)
  • Previous experience or interest in educational support roles or paraprofessional duties

Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in delivering individualized and group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Foster a positive and nurturing classroom environment to enhance student engagement
  • Help with instructional activities and classroom organization under the direction of certified staff
  • Maintain clear communication regarding student progress and any concerns
