A temporary paraprofessional position is available at an elementary school supporting Learning Support classrooms for 3rd and 4th-grade students. This contract role runs from ASAP through June and offers the opportunity to contribute to student success in a structured learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist certified teachers in delivering instructional support tailored to individual student needs.
• Support classroom management and ensure a positive, safe learning environment.
• Aid students in learning activities, providing reinforcement, guidance, and encouragement.
• Help with classroom preparation and organizational tasks as directed.
• Monitor student progress and communicate insights to teachers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a paraprofessional or working with elementary-aged children is preferred.
• Ability to implement instructional strategies and effectively support learning objectives.
• Patience, strong communication skills, and dedication to fostering development in students with diverse needs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work the designated hours from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
• Capability to work collaboratively within a team-focused school setting.

Location:

• This role is based in Harborcreek, PA.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, full school day from 8:45 am to 3:45 pm.
