School Paraprofessional 26/27 SY
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional to support students in a school setting. In this role, you will work one-on-one and in small groups with students who have diverse learning needs, including learning disabilities and behavioral support needs. You'll play an important role in helping students achieve academic, social, and behavioral success.
Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 and small group instructional support to students
- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson implementation and daily classroom activities
- Support students with behavior management, transitions, and daily routines
- Help implement IEP goals, accommodations, and behavior support plans
- Foster positive social interactions and encourage student engagement
- Collect and document student progress as directed by the teacher or school staff
Qualifications
Candidates must meet one of the following education requirements:
- Paraprofessional II Certificate, OR
- Official post-secondary transcripts showing credits equivalent to an Associate's Degree, OR
- Completed Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree
