Job Description
Support students' educational experience in a dynamic K-12 environment as a paraprofessional in Derry, NH. Multiple contract positions are available across three schools, providing essential support ranging from one-on-one assistance to general classroom aid.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver personalized support to students in both 1:1 settings and group classrooms.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to enhance learning outcomes.
- Assist with classroom management and instructional activities.
- Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with the education team.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required; additional higher education is a plus.
- Ability to provide three professional references, including a current or most recent supervisor.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
Position Details:
- Availability is needed ASAP through June 15, 2026.
- Assignments distributed across three schools: approximately 3-4 roles at the high school, 2-3 roles at the middle school, and 1-2 roles at the elementary school.
- Weekly hours total 32.5, with school-specific schedules:
- High School: 7:30 AM 2:30 PM
- Middle School: 7:10 AM 2:10 PM
- Elementary School: 8:05 AM 3:05 PM
