Job Description
Supporting high school students as a paraprofessional offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. This contract position, located in the Derry, NH area, is dedicated to providing support within a high school environment throughout the current school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one and classroom support to students as assigned.
- Assist in implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) and facilitate inclusive learning.
- Support teachers in preparing instructional materials and managing classroom activities.
- Monitor and encourage positive student behavior and engagement.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to promote a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Proof of high school diploma or GED required.
- Three professional references required at the time of interview, including one most recent supervisor.
- Experience or interest in working with high school students in educational support roles.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students and staff.
Position Details:
- Location: Derry, NH area.
- Job Type: Contract through June 15, 2026.
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week.
- Assignment: Mixed 1:1 student support and classroom assistance.
