Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience working as a paraprofessional or instructional aide in educational settings
- Familiarity with classroom management and individualized student support
- Ability to assist students with varying abilities in both group and one-on-one settings
- Excellent communication skills with students, teachers, and staff
- Patience, adaptability, and a caring demeanor
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework in education or special needs support is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
- Support teachers with instructional activities and classroom organization
- Help students understand assignments and reinforce learning concepts individually or in small groups
- Assist with implementing behavior management plans and supporting positive classroom behaviors
- Provide care, supervision, and guidance for students with special needs as directed by classroom teachers or administrators
- Prepare instructional materials and learning tools as requested
- Participate in staff meetings and contribute to a collaborative school atmosphere
