School-Based Paraprofessional Opportunity in Penacook New Hampshire
Location: Penacook, NH
School District: Merrimack Valley SAU 46
Assignment Dates: August 30, 2026 June 2027
Schedule: 32.5 hours per week
School Assignment: One school site
Position Overview
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking dedicated and student-focused Paraprofessionals for the 2026-2027 school year. Multiple openings are available across elementary, middle, and high school settings, with the greatest need at the elementary level.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who are passionate about supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally in a school-based environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide classroom support to students and instructional staff.
- Assist with academic activities and implementation of lesson plans.
- Support students in achieving educational and behavioral goals.
- Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and support staff.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in accordance with district guidelines.
- Assist students with daily routines and classroom transitions as needed.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents preferred.
- Ability to work effectively with students across various age groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to supporting student success and well-being.
- Ability to collaborate effectively as part of an educational team.
- School Placements
Candidates will be assigned to one school site based on district needs and experience.
