Now Hiring: Full-Time Paraprofessionals (Male Candidates Only)

We are seeking dedicated and reliable Paraprofessionals to provide 1:1 and classroom support for K-12 students within special education programs. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with school-based experience who are passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.

Successful candidates will work directly with students requiring additional support and must be comfortable assisting students with behavioral challenges, personal care needs, and educational interventions.

Job Responsibilities

As a School-Based Paraprofessional, you will:

• Provide 1:1 support for assigned students
• Assist with classroom activities and educational instruction
• Support students with academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
• Implement behavior management strategies and intervention plans
• Assist with elopement prevention and student safety monitoring
• Work closely with teachers, administrators, and support staff
• Support students with daily living skills and personal care tasks
• Maintain a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Hands-On Support Required

Candidates must be comfortable providing support that may include:

• Toileting and diapering assistance
• Behavior intervention and de-escalation
• Student supervision and safety monitoring
• Assisting students who may demonstrate challenging behaviors
• Supporting students with varying special education needs
• Remaining active throughout the school day

Required Qualifications

• Male candidates only
• Previous school-based experience is required
• Experience working with special education students is strongly preferred
• Experience supporting behaviorally challenged students is highly desired
• Education
• High School Diploma or equivalent required

Certifications

• Current CPR Certification required
• Assistance obtaining CPR certification may be available

Additional Requirements

• Ability to obtain and maintain all Pennsylvania clearances
• Reliable transportation
• Professional references required
• Comfortable working with K-12 students
• Comfortable working in an urban school environment
