Necessary skills and experience:
- Current Paraprofessional certification in Massachusetts
- Previous experience supporting students in school settings preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to provide both one-on-one and group assistance for students
- Adaptability and a proactive, reliable approach
What your role will include:
- Assisting classroom teachers with instructional support and behavior management
- Supporting middle school students with their academic and social-emotional needs
- Implementing accommodations and modifications for students with diverse learning needs
- Monitoring student progress and effectively communicating observations to the teaching team
- Fostering a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere
This contract position is structured for 37.5 hours each week, Monday through Friday, directly engaging with middle school learners.
