• High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in education or child development is a plus.
• Capability to assist students with various needs, which may include academic, behavioral, or physical support.

What youll do:

• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance to students as directed by a teacher or special education staff.
• Assist in the implementation of lesson plans, modifying materials as needed for individual learners.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere.
• Aid students with organization, classroom participation, and social skills development.
• Support classroom management and ensure student safety at all times.
• Assist with personal care or mobility needs as necessary, maintaining dignity and respect for all students.
• Help with the preparation of instructional materials and classroom tasks.
