An educational paraprofessional opportunity is available for individuals with experience or credentials supporting students in special education settings. This role supports life skills classrooms in a K-12 school environment near Union, ME, serving students with diverse learning needs.
Responsibilities include assisting teachers with instructional and behavioral support, implementing individualized education plans (IEPs), and fostering a positive learning atmosphere tailored to students requiring additional support.
Qualifications:
- Experience working with students in special education settings is preferred.
- Candidates without direct experience must possess at least 60+ credit hours and hold an active educational technician (Ed Tech) certification.
- Capable of supporting life skills classroom activities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, students, and families.
Location: Near Union, ME
