Job Title: Highly Qualified Paraprofessional (Para)
Location: Multiple Elementary School Openings | Near Ramsey, MN
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Start Date: Approximately August 31, 2026
Contract End Date: November 29, 2026 (90-day contract period prior to district conversion)
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 32.5 hours per week

Sunbelt Staffing is actively hiring Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals to support students across multiple elementary school locations within a school district near Ramsey, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for dedicated education professionals seeking meaningful school-based experience with the potential to transition into a direct hire position with the district.

Candidates must identify their preferred school location(s) before presentation.
The district will not review candidate submissions without a preferred location listed.
Candidates should review and map their selected school location prior to submission to ensure commuting feasibility.
Responsibilities
Support students academically, socially, and behaviorally in the classroom setting
Collaborate with teachers and special education staff
Assist with instructional activities and classroom management
Provide one-on-one and small-group support as directed
Maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment
Follow district and school policies and procedures
Qualifications
Must meet Minnesota requirements for a Highly Qualified Paraprofessional
Previous school, childcare, behavioral health, or educational support experience preferred
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively with students of varying needs and abilities
Reliable transportation to assigned school location
