Job Description
A school district in Anoka, MN, is seeking a highly qualified paraprofessional to support an elementary school classroom on a contracted basis for the current school year. This role offers the opportunity to assist students in a dynamic learning environment while working Monday through Friday with consistent hours.
Location:
- Eisenhower Elementary School, 151 Northdale Blvd NW #3396, Minneapolis, MN 55448
Duration:
- Contract position from January 26, 2026, to June 5, 2026
Schedule:
- 32.5 hours per week with a 30-minute unpaid lunch
- Monday through Friday
Responsibilities:
- Assist elementary students as part of the instructional team under teacher supervision
- Support classroom management and student engagement
- Adapt instructional materials to meet student needs and accommodate learning styles
- Collaborate with staff and contribute to a positive educational environment
Qualifications:
- Must be highly qualified by one of the following: Passing the Minnesota Board Highly Qualified Paraprofessional Exam Possessing at least 60 college credits with official transcripts (transcripts, not diplomas, are required)
- Experience or skills in providing paraprofessional support in schools preferred
- Candidate must confirm willingness to work at the listed site location
Additional Details:
- After 120 days of contracting, the candidate may be considered for direct hire by the district
