Highly Qualified Paraprofessional (Para Educator) | Secondary School Support | Minnesota
Location: Multiple Middle School and High School Openings Available
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Hours: 32.5 Hours Per Week
Start Date: Approximately August 31, 2026
Assignment Type: Contract-to-Hire
Conversion Eligibility: Direct hire opportunity after 422 hours worked
Support Student Success in Secondary Education
We are hiring Highly Qualified Paraprofessionals to provide classroom and student support in middle school and high school settings. This role is ideal for candidates passionate about education, special education, behavioral support, and helping adolescents achieve academic, social, and personal growth.
As a Paraprofessional, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to assist students throughout the school day while fostering a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
Primary Responsibilities
Provide classroom support for teachers and students
Assist with academic instruction and educational activities
Support students individually and in small groups
Help maintain a structured, safe, and engaging learning environment
Assist students with behavioral, social, and personal needs
Implement student support plans and accommodations
Collaborate with teachers, case managers, and school staff
Provide personal care assistance, including toileting when needed
Qualification Requirements
To be considered, applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
Passed the Minnesota Para Educator Exam, OR
Completed 60 or more college credits (official transcripts required)
