Job Description

An opportunity awaits for a dedicated specialist to contribute to the well-being of students in a K-12 educational setting. This part-time position offers a flexible schedule, requiring only four hours of service per week. The role is focused on providing therapeutic interventions to support students' needs during the extended school year, from July 8th to July 31st, 2025.

Location: Woonsocket, RI

Key Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Valid Rhode Island Occupational Therapy License
  • Experience in home health, healthcare, teletherapy, and school settings
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs)

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine students' occupational therapy needs
  • Implement and adjust therapy plans in alignment with IEP goals
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support students' overall development
  • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress
  • Provide consultation and guidance regarding therapeutic strategies and interventions
