An engaging opportunity awaits for an Occupational Therapist specializing in school settings, aimed at supporting K-12 students in Wilmington, NC. This contract position spans the extended school year, focusing on fostering student development and addressing individual needs within the classroom.

Location: Wilmington, NC

Schedule: 10-15 hrs/wk

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation, assessment, and treatment for a caseload of 14 K-12 students.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and parents.
• Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support holistic student development.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of services and student progress.

Qualifications:

• Current NC Occupational Therapy License.
• Experience working in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and families.
• Ability to evaluate and assess student needs and develop appropriate therapy plans.
• Familiarity with IEP processes and documentation requirements.
