Job Description

This contract position offers an opportunity to provide occupational therapy services within a K-12 school setting located in White Rock, NM. The role involves supporting students across multiple grade levels in a district serving Ohkay Owing, NM, with a very part-time commitment of approximately 2 hours per week, designed for practitioners seeking flexible work arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver occupational therapy interventions to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Coordinate and collaborate with educational staff and families to support student progress.
  • Utilize indirect hours for administrative duties as applicable.
  • Participate in team meetings, with paid time provided.
  • Operate within a caseload model supporting K-12 students.
  • Engage in necessary training related to district protocols and therapy spaces.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Valid occupational therapy licensure with experience in school-based settings preferred.
  • Familiarity with K-12 educational environments and therapy practices.
  • Ability to work effectively with students requiring various levels of support.
  • Comfort with remote interview processes via Zoom, flexible scheduling for interviews.
  • Capacity for itinerant travel as assigned, with district-provided space for therapy sessions.
  • Willingness to comply with credentialing and fingerprinting requirements as applicable.

Location and Schedule:
