An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist to provide essential services in a middle school setting. This contract position is located in West Newbury, MA, where the focus will be on supporting students' individual needs through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications:

• Masters degree in Occupational Therapy or related field
• Valid state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
• Experience in home health and/or school settings
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to develop and implement IEPs (Individualized Education Plans)
• Knowledge of therapeutic techniques and treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments to determine students needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student outcomes
• Provide direct occupational therapy services and adapt activities to promote engagement
• Monitor and document progress in accordance with state regulations and school policies
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and required interventions
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of therapy sessions and outcomes
