Occupational Therapist School-Based Contract Opportunity (West Chester, PA)

An occupational therapist is needed to provide specialized therapy services to support a 6th-grade student within a school setting in West Chester, PA. This contract position offers the opportunity to deliver direct occupational therapy services on-site, focusing on enhancing the students functional abilities and school participation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct occupational therapy services to a 6th-grade student for 30 minutes once per week
• Collaborate with school staff and other professionals to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
• Monitor student progress and document therapeutic outcomes in compliance with school and regulatory standards
• Participate in team meetings and communicate regularly with caregivers and educators

Qualifications:

• Valid PA Occupational Therapy (OT) License required
• Experience in school-based occupational therapy preferred
• Familiarity with therapy services in multiple settings including healthcare, home health, and teletherapy is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
