Job Description

Preferred applicants will excel in both traditional and home health settings, demonstrating flexibility and creative problem-solving in their therapy approach.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapy license in Nevada
  • Proven experience in school-based, home health, or general healthcare OT environments
  • Ability to effectively manage and serve a diverse caseload of K-12 students
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals

Key Duties:

  • Deliver individualized and group OT interventions designed to enhance students academic participation, fine motor skills, self-care, and independence
  • Assess, document, and evaluate student progress while actively participating in the development of IEPs
  • Collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families to support classroom modifications and facilitate student success
  • Travel between assigned schools if required
  • Utilize clinical expertise to support student needs in both school and (as needed) home-based therapy contexts
