This full-time School-Based Occupational Therapist position offers an opportunity to work with students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a public school setting in Tamworth, New Hampshire. The role involves delivering direct occupational therapy services, conducting evaluations, and collaborating with educational teams to support students' development and educational goals throughout the school year.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing individualized occupational therapy services to K-12 students to enhance their ability to participate in academic and functional activities.
- Conducting thorough assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and develop appropriate intervention plans.
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams during meetings and IEP (Individualized Education Program) goal development.
- Documenting and tracking student progress through goal setting and regular reports.
