This opportunity combines on-site and possible teletherapy services, focusing on both individualized and classroom-based interventions. The position is conveniently located near Sterling Heights, MI, with hours distributed over 2-3 days per week and a manageable 22-hour weekly schedule.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Active OT license for Michigan (OT MI credential required)
• Experience providing occupational therapy in school settings; K-5 or elementary experience is a plus
• Comfort with creative interventions in both direct and teletherapy formats
• Ability to tailor approaches for diverse learners and collaborate with teachers, paraprofessionals, and families
• Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation abilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans targeting motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
• Deliver small group, one-on-one, and classroom-based occupational therapy sessions in-school and via teletherapy as needed
• Monitor student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate regularly with educational staff and guardians
• Collaborate on IEP teams and provide expertise in accommodations, equipment needs, and strategies for student success
• Maintain compliance with school policy, state regulations, and best practices in pediatric OT
