A virtual Occupational Therapist position is available to support six small K-12 schools in Soldotna, AK. This contract role spans the school year and offers both full-time and part-time options. The position involves managing a caseload of approximately 30 to 35 students, providing therapeutic services to support their educational and developmental needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services virtually to students across multiple schools
- Collaborate with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Monitor and document student progress in accordance with school and state guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary planning
- Ensure compliance with licensure and professional standards
Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapy licensure in the state of Alaska
- Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage a virtual caseload effectively
- Commitment to supporting student development in a K-12 environment
