An opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist skilled in school-based practice to support a K-12 educational setting in Selah, WA. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending June 11, 2026, and involves approximately 24 hours per week of onsite work across multiple school locations.
Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to a caseload of around 20 students, spanning all age ranges within the K-12 system.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Conduct assessments, create treatment plans, and document progress to ensure compliance with educational and therapeutic standards.
- Support students in developing fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills to enhance participation and success in the school environment.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist with experience in school-based settings.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with children across various developmental stages.
- Strong communication skills for collaboration with educational staff and families.
- Familiarity with state and federal educational guidelines related to special education services.
- Commitment to onsite work as remote options are not available.
