A contract opportunity is available for an experienced Occupational Therapist seeking to make a meaningful impact in educational settings. This position is located in San Jose, CA, and spans the full semester, offering the chance to work with diverse student populations in an itinerant role.

Responsibilities:

• Provide evaluation and assessment for students requiring occupational therapy.
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with special education teams.
• Deliver direct therapy services and monitor student progress in accordance with IEP goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and district regulations.
• Participate in team meetings and engage in professional development opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Valid California Occupational Therapy License.
• Experience in school-based therapy, particularly with pediatric populations.
• Strong understanding of IEP processes and collaboration with educational staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an itinerant position.
