Providing occupational therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in San Bernardino, CA, this contract role offers an opportunity to support student development across a diverse age range. This position requires a licensed Occupational Therapist who can deliver effective therapy interventions tailored to school-aged children, contributing to their academic and functional success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students on your caseload
- Provide direct occupational therapy services focusing on fine motor, sensory processing, and self-help skills
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to promote student progress and inclusion
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to IEP development and reviews
Qualifications:
- Active California Occupational Therapy licensure
- Experience working within school-based settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric therapy techniques and school-related functional goals
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams
- Commitment to supporting students educational and social growth
Position Details:
